My 6 year old daughter adores Ninjago at the moment, and loves Lloyd so much that the very first item on her Christmas list is a Lloyd fancy dress costume. She’s definitely a girl who know what she wants and not one to choose girly toys and games. We are a big LEGO house ( I’m hoping for the Palace Cinema for my Christmas present ) and I love that our passion for all things LEGO has rubbed off on Hannah as well.
Lucky Hannah didn’t have to wait till Christmas for her Ninjago fix as Jakks Pacific kindly sent us a costume to review. It came in a big LEGO themed box and she was VERY excited to find not only a costume but a box of Ninjago LEGO as well!
LEGO Ninjago Fancy Dress Costume
We are both very impressed with the costume, which is very LEGO like! The deluxe costume retails at RRP. £29.99 or you can get a prestige version, which we have for RRP. £49.99. Ninjago fans can choose from four characters; Kai, Lloyd, Jay and Nya.
The costume is amazing. We love that although the wearer can see through the eyes, other people can’t, so you have no idea who is dressed up! The helmet fits securely with a velcro strap which stays on brilliantly.
This is the age 7-8 costume, which was a little on the large side for Hannah, but perfect for big brother who is a small 9 year old.
The trousers are long enough to cover the feet and the hands brilliantly done. The gloves have a LEGO man hand shape giving a real LEGO mini figure effect. Little hands can be easily tucked in and out of the glove if needed, which is very clever. The whole costume is great quality and beautifully made, we would definitely recommend it for any little Ninjago fans.
Ninjago costumes are available from Amazon and other retailers nationwide and come in three possible sizes: 4-6 (small), 7-8 (medium), or 10-12 (large).
Huge thanks to Jakks Pacific for a wonderful pre Christmas surprise!
